Yes, is there a certain type I should use? I was thinking something like clear nail polish or something...

you can use nail polish, but it doesnt leave a flat surface. i would strip the hardware and get someone to spray the front professionally. it would probably only need the one coat then a few days to set hard.

I love it, it plays beautifully! My only complaint is reaching the upper frets is a bit of a PITA...

Welcome to the world of Les Paul's brotha!!! One of the reasons why I dislike them...among many others. Glad you like it for 17 frets though Wink

Nice Guitar!
Be careful with putting another coat of lacquer on the guitar, most lacquers will dissolve the color from the pen and perhaps harm the rest of the lacquer. Before you spray it on the guitar, make sure it doesn´t harm the autograph.

Thanks, no the strap didn't come with it... I bought the strap like 4 years ago from a store in England shortly after I "ordered" the guitar. It's been waiting til now to be used.
